State Budget Cuts Force Cancellation of Summer Honors Institute ProgramsWe are very sorry to inform you that we have been forced to cancel our Summer Honors Institutes for July 2009. We were notified on Friday, June 26, 2009 that Governor Strickland has recommended eliminating funding for the Summer Honors Institutes as part of his framework for balancing the state budget in light of deteriorating state revenues. Checks received for room and board charges associated with residential programs will be immediately returned. Thank you for your interest in this program and again, our apologies for this late notice. If you have questions, please call Guy Farish or Yolanda Kennedy at (440) 826-2763. |
