The Office of Community Outreach offers two kinds of weekly service programs: Non-Commitment and Commitment. Non-Commitment programs are open to anyone interested in serving throughout the semester. Commitment programs ask for a semester-long commitment. Transportation is provided for all programs, leaving daily from the Service Desk in the Strosacker College Union. New participants are welcome!
Getting Involved
Non-Commitment Programs
No advance registration is required and you may choose to come once or as many times as you would like throughout the semester. Just come to the Service Desk (candy counter) in the Union at the time listed below and a student coordinator will be there to show you the ropes. Participation is on a first come, first serve basis.
*The above also applies to programs listed as commitment preferred.
Commitment Programs
Please contact the Office of Community Outreach in advance at 440-826-2403 or jbishop@bw.edu. We will put you in touch with the appropriate student coordinator.
