Registration and Records

General Information

Current students may obtain a free enrollment verification that can be used to send to health insurers, housing providers or other organizations requiring proof of enrollment. To get the free enrollment verification log in to your portal page, select the Resources tab (near top of page) and then click on the National Student Clearinghouse link.

Student's Right to Privacy

Baldwin-Wallace College hereby designates the following categories of student information as public "Directory Information."  Such information may be disclosed by the institution for any purposes, at its discretion.

Category 1:    Name, dates of attendance, enrollment status (current, full-time, part-time)
  
Category 2:     Previous institution(s) attended, address, telephone number, e-mail address, student ID number, major field of study, degree conferred (including dates), date of birth, class schedule, student photo.
  
Category 3:      Past and present participation in officially recognized sports and activities, physical characteristics of athletes

Currently enrolled students may withhold disclosure of any category of information under the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974. To withhold disclosure, written notification must be received in the Office of the Registrar prior to Friday, September 16. Forms requesting the withholding of "Directory Information" are available in the Registrar's Office.  B-W assumes that failure on the part of the student to specifically request the withholding of categories of  "Directory Information" indicates individual approval for disclosure.
