As part of the Division of Student Affairs the mission of Commuter Services is to provide direct support to traditional and non-traditional undergraduate and graduate students who commute to the Baldwin-Wallace campus. Our mission is achieved through programs and services that assist students in making connections to campus life and involvement opportunities.
Along with serving as a resource to students, The Office of Commuter Services is responsible for advising the Commuter Activity Board and the upkeep of the Commuter Lounge in Heritage Hall. Other services provided are: Special Events, an Off Campus Housing List, Commuter Student Assistants, and the Commuter Connection newsletter.
The Office of Commuter Services also sponsors a large, annual Spring event entitled "Style Your Ride" where a lucky commuter student will win an opportunity to have their car "styled" B-W style! For more information on this event, click here!
The Office of Commuter Services staff consists of Director Jay T. Hairston, Graduate Assistant Christopher Vilevac, and Office Manager/Secretary Veronica Drdek. Our office is located in Room 110 of the Bonds Administration Building. Please stop by or give us a call at 440-826-2380. We can also be reached via email, commuter@bw.edu. Help us support B-W's Driving Force!
