International Business is a new undergraduate-level program being offered at Baldwin-Wallace College.
Offered as a major/minor, the program is an interdisciplinary study focused on helping students gain the knowledge, skills and sensitivities that’ll help them understand, appreciate and work in today’s competitive and economy-driven global society. Through the program, students will learn to apply analytical thinking, innovative practices and creative problem-solving techniques to managing real-world issues and concerns.
Built into the program is a study abroad component that offers students a firsthand look at other cultures. In addition, students can participate in independent study projects and internships at renowned corporations and leading government agencies in nearby Cleveland and nationwide.
They also can gain skills and valuable networking contacts through the Business Advisory Council, Corporate Roundtables and programs offered through B-W’s new Center for Innovation and Growth, an initiative focused on B-W’s commitment to the growth and future success of new business development in Northeast Ohio.
