“I was accepted at a number of prestigious schools but I really wanted to come to B-W for the opportunity to work with the faculty. The generosity of donors who provided scholarship funds made it possible, and I am grateful to them.”
From its beginnings, B-W has been marked by an unswerving commitment to provide quality educational opportunities for every qualified student who wished to enroll.

Baldwin-Wallace has worked tirelessly to contain tuition costs; our annual increases remain among the lowest of any college or university in Ohio. Nonetheless, more than 90 percent of our students now receive aid of some kind, and financial assistance has become the largest component of our operating costs. Our commitment in 1996 was $10 million; today, it exceeds $17 million. We need strong endowed funds to sustain a financial aid program on this scale.

To ensure access for qualified students, B-W must be able to reward outstanding achievements as well as provide general scholarship and other loan programs.
