Meet the Staff


Professor Emeritus Glenn M. Blair, Interim Director   gblair@bw.edu   


Professor Blair retired in May 2008 after 21 years teaching Management, Human Resources and Law courses in the Business Division. He has returned to Baldwin-Wallace to assist in Career Services until a permanent director is in place. While in the Business Division, Glenn received both the Bechberger and Strosacker Awards for teaching excellence, served as Co-Chair of the Faculty, and directed the Executive MBA program among numerous other activities and honors. Prior to joining Baldwin-Wallace, Glenn was Vice-President of Human Resources for Sohio Oil (now a part of British Petroleum). He served for two years in London with BP.

  • Juris Doctorate from the University of Illinois College of Law where he was honored as a distinguished alumni
  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce and Law from the University of Illinois College of Business
  • Harvard Business School Human Resource Manager’s Summer Course and the International Human Resource Executive’s Program in London

                                                                                   


Lacey Kogelnik, Assistant Director   lkogelni@bw.edu

As Assistant Director, Lacey assists with the leadership of Career Services and develops strategic relationships with local career development partners. In addition, Lacey serves as the Career Services liaison to the Business Division and international students.  She also teaches College 115: Career Decision-Making. Lacey manages the planning and implementation of the yearly Career & Internship Expo, as well as Fall and Spring Career Weeks. Lacey has completed coursework requirements and passed the qualification testing required to interpret the MBTI assessment.

  • Master's Degree in English with Certifications in the Teaching of Writing and Professional Writing & Editing from Youngstown State University
  • Bachelor's Degree in Professional Writing and Editing from Youngstown State University
  • Previous experience includes teaching and career advising at both public and private institutions of higher education
 

                                       

Meghan Chrobak   mchrobak@bw.edu

Meghan is the liaison to the academic divisions of Arts and Humanities, Social Sciences,  Theatre, and Music Conservatory. She advises students in these and all other academic fields. Meghan leads various Career Services programs, such as:  Resume Writing Clinic, TWIST, and Express Lanes. She also helps manage the Career Leadership Corps.

  • Master of Education Degree, Adult Learning and Development from Cleveland State University
  • Bachelor of Arts Degree, English Literature from Kent State University
  • Related professional experience includes career advising and teaching at state university and academic advising for a small, private college

                                                                 


Beth Ehrbar, Career Advisor   behrbar@bw.edu

As a Career Advisor, Beth plans and implements programs for first year students and students undecided on their major. She introduces first year students to the resources in Career Services making various presentations throughout the year and coordinating the Career Services First Year Student Open House. Beth advises students in all majors and manages the DISCOVER software program, a valuable self-assessment career planning tool available to all students. Beth brings experience in school counseling, business, and marketing.

 Judy Mey, Career Advisor   jmey@bw.edu

As a Career Advisor, Judy is the liaison to the Divisions of Health & Physical Education and Math & Computer Science, and the Departments of Biology, Chemistry, Communications & Theatre, Economics and Physics.  She advises majors in these and all other disciplines. Facilitating Resume Writing Clinics, Internship and Career Services orientation programs, and Express Lanes are among Judy's responsibilities. Judy also oversees the Internship Program, CareerConnections (alumni volunteer mentor database), CareerPlace (resource center), and maintain's the Career Services Web site. She has completed course requirements and passed the qualification testing required to interpret the MBTI assessment.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Health and Physical Education (K-12) from Miami University
  • Prior Career Services experience includes employer relations, student supervision and office administration
  • Taught and coached at Olmsted Falls High School

                                     


Linda Kerbusch, Support Staff   lkerbusc@bw.edu

Linda's main responsibilities are employer relations and the On-Campus Recruiting Program.  She also coordinates the job and internship posting process on the B-W Career Network. 

  • Formerly with Baldwin-Wallace College Admissions
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Public Relations

                                                             


Students in the Career Leadership Corps serve as paraprofessionals in the Office of Career Services.  Responsibilities include customer service and outreach to the B-W Community and its academic departments/divisions.  Career Leadership Corps (CLC) members serve as peer career mentors and provide support for career-related programs and special events.
