The Liberal Arts Education Tradition - We value providing individual career advising and educational opportunities for each undergraduate student grounded in the Liberal Arts tradition.

Individuality & Affirmation –We accept each student as a unique individual by supporting their interests, encouraging their development, listening to their ideas, and connecting them to resources that facilitate and engage learning.

Customer Service – We provide the highest level of customer service for our clients: students, faculty, employers, and alumni by understanding to their unique needs, goals, and objectives.

Diversity - We serve the diverse populations of the campus (intellectual, multicultural and gender-equitable) through collaboration and partnerships with faculty, student organizations, alumni and the external employer community.

Collaboration & Partnering – We create, build, and maintain relationships with student organizations, academic departments, employers, and alumni to deliver the innovative career and professional programs that meet the diverse needs of the campus community.

Experiential Learning and Internships – We value career-exploration and discovery, experiential learning, career-decision making and lifelong learning by promoting internships, volunteerism, service learning, and study abroad opportunities as part of the undergraduate experience.

Resource Development – We dedicate financial resources to staff professional development, the expansion of networks and contacts within the external employer community and the identification of alumni to provide career mentoring to our students.

Technological Innovation – We commit to 24 hours a day/7 days per week "real time" access to Career Service for each student by ensuring that over 50% of our career exploration, professional development, internship, and job search tools are online for distance learning.
