Enduring Questions: the Mark Collier Lecture Series’ focus
for the 2008-2009 is Sustaining our Common Humanity: Shared
Spaces/Shared Places. The first two lectures will be held in Kulas Musical
Arts Building, 96 Front St., Berea. They are free and open to the
public.

Dr. Edward O. Wilson, professor emeritus at Harvard, is considered
the founder of the sustainability movement. He has received scores
of awards, including two Pulitzers, the Tyler Prize for
Environmental Achievement, and the National Medal of Science.

Chair of Sustainable Global Enterprise and Professor of Management
at Cornell University, is one of the world's top authorities on the
implications of sustainable development and environmentalism for

Enduring Questions Lecture and Martin Luther King Celebration Keynote Speaker
Producer and director of the groundbreaking documentaries The Way Home and Light in the Shadows, Butler is a powerful voice for social justice in the world today. A multiracial African-American, she strives to create venues for constructive conversations on oppression through the lens of race, yet moves beyond black and white and speaks to the interconnectedness of racism, classism, sexism and homophobia.
