Yellow Jacket Volleyball Team Ends Season; DePeters is the Only Senior
BEREA, OHIO -- The Baldwin-Wallace College volleyball team ended its 2008-2009 season with a 13-21 overall record. The Yellow Jackets came into the season with an extremely young team, including just one senior in standout middle hitter Maria DePeters (Buffalo, New York/ Mount St. Mary Academy), and played one of the toughest schedules in NCAA Division III.

"There were many lessons learned this season," said veteran Head Coach Vicki Brault, the second winningest volleyball coach in school history with 284 wins in 14 seasons at the College and 354 in her 18 seasons overall. "We had a young and inexperienced team that got better and gained both experience and confidence as the season progressed. Obviously, we will miss Maria and her talent and leadership, but feel that we built a solid base for the future success of our program."

Baldwin-Wallace Volleyball Team Falls 3-0 to Heidelberg in OAC Tournament Quarterfinals
BEREA, OHIO -- The Baldwin-Wallace College volleyball team fell 3-0 to Heidelberg College in an Ohio Athletic Conference Tournament quarterfinal match tonight (Tuesday, November 4, 2008) in Sieberling Gymnasium in Tiffin. Heidelberg won by scores of 25-14, 25-13, and 29-27.
