Senior quarterback Dan Larlham is this week's OAC Offensive Player of the Week

Larlham.jpgBEREA, OHIO -- Baldwin-Wallace College senior quarterback Dan Larlham (Brimfield/ Walsh Jesuit High School) is this week's Ohio Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week. Larlham earned the honor for his efforts in a 51-0 shutout victory last Saturday against Wilmington College at The George Finnie Stadium in Berea.

It marks the third time in his career that Larlham has earned OAC Offensive Player of the Week accolades.

In the game, Larlham, who exited after the first offensive series of the second half, completed 12 of 18 passes for 175 yards and two touchdowns and ran for a season-high 110 yards in four attempts, including a career-long 79-yard jaunt for a TD.

For the season, Larlham has completed 71 of 123 passes for 57.7 percent for 863 yards with 11 TD and five interceptions. He is second on the team in rushing with 432 yards in 66 attempts with four TD.

larlham.jpgFor his career, Larlham has completed 443 of 762 passes for 5,879 yards and 52 TD and run for 1,512 yards and 30 TD. His completions, yardage and TD are second all-time at B-W (to former All-American John Koz, 1990-93). In rushing, Larlham's ,1512 yards are four shy of a school-record (held by Brian Moore, 1980-83). His 30 rushing TD are one shy of current senior running back Mark Anders school-record. Larlham's 82 career total offense TD is a school-record and his 7,391 yards of total offense are second all-time (John Koz had 7,511).

In the classroom, Larlham is an education and mathematics major who carries a 3.044 grade point average. He is currently student teaching at local Berea High School with career intentions of teaching and coaching football.

Larlham and the Yellow Jackets, 5-1 overall, 4-1 in the OAC and ranked as high as seventh (d3football.com Internet Web Site national Division III poll) in Division III, will be back in action this Saturday, October 25, when they travel to New Concord to play Muskingum College, also 5-1 overall and 4-1 in the OAC, at McConagha Stadium at 1:30 p.m. The game can be heard locally on campus radio station WBWC, 88.3 FM.
