Canton Central Catholic Grad Justin Andes is B-W's Cleveland Touchdown Club Honoree

BEREA, OHIO -- Baldwin-Wallace College senior defensive back Justin Andes, a resident of Canal Fulton and a graduate of Canton Central Catholic High School, is this year's Yellow Jacket honoree to the annual Cleveland Touchdown Club dinner on January 17, 2005.

Andes, who carries a 3.73 grade point average in biology and pre-med, started in the Yellow Jacket secondary for the third straight year. The 2004 ESPN THE MAGAZINE/ CoSIDA Academic All-American is a three-time Academic All-OAC player, three-time Academic All-District IV choice who was a first-team All-OAC pick this fall. He is also currently under consideration for Division III All-America accolades by the d3football.com internet Web site.

This fall, Andes was third on the team in tackles with 55, including 30 solo stops. He had one interception and nine pass breakups. Has had 123 career tackles and six interceptions as the Yellow Jackets compiled a 31-11 record, including one NCAA Division III National Playoff berth (2003).

Andes is the son of Tom and Mary Ann Andes of Canal Fulton, Ohio.
