The Baldwin-Wallace College baseball team is one of the finest in both the Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) and NCAA Division III Mideast Region. Under the direction of veteran Head Coach Bob Fisher, the Yellow Jackets annually compete for an OAC title and berth in the Division III National Tournament.
Under Fisher's tutledge, B-W has won three OAC titles, including two OAC Tournament crowns, made 16 OAC Playoff appearances and received four NCAA tournament bids. In the past 21 years, B-W has won 414 games, including at least 10 wins every year and 20 victories 14 times.
Bob Fisher's teams traditionally have solid in hitting and pitching and are fundamentally sound in base running and defense.
Compeition begins each spring with a trip to the Sunshine State of Florida where the Yellow Jackets play the best competition available at the annual Gene Cusic Collegiate Classic in Ft. Myers. B-W plays many of the tope teams from New England, Massacusetts and Wisconsin. Overall, the varsity plays a 40-game schedule and the junior varsity hopes to play a 20-game schedule. Included in the varsity competition are 18 games in the rugged OAC.
