Baldwin-Wallace College Junior First Baseman Riley Kreisher is the OAC Hitter of the Week

BEREA, OHIO —
Baldwin-Wallace College junior first baseman Riley Kreisher (Ashtabula/ Edgewood) is this week’s Ohio Athletic Conference Baseball Hitter of the Week.
 
Kreisher earned the honor for his efforts last week when he compiled a .500 batting average with 10 base hits in 20 at-bats. Six of his hits went for extra bases, including five doubles and one homerun. The five doubles gave Kreisher 18 for the season to tie a Yellow Jacket single-season record. He also scored four runs, had five runs batted-in, had a .950 slugging average and a .545 on-base average.
 
For the season, Kreisher, who earned All-OAC honors as a sophomore, batted .340 (51-of-150) with 27 runs scored, 18 doubles, a team-high two homers and 29 RBI and team-high-tying four triples. He also led the team with a .553 slugging average and .988 fielding average.
 
For his career (three seasons), Kreisher has appeared in 97 games and has a .346 batting average (113-of-350) with 68 runs scored, 28 doubles, six triples, six homeruns, 72 RBI, four stolen bases and a .993 fielding average.
