You have accomplished great things in your busy life -- at work, in your community and with your family. And yet, the time and opportunity to complete college has been elusive. The Accelerated Degree in Organizational Leadership provides an excellent opportunity for professional and personal growth, and is designed to fit into your busy schedule.
In just three years, you can earn a respected Bachelor's Degree from Baldwin-Wallace College, ranked among the Top Schools in U.S. News and World Report's America's Best Colleges!
Collaborative Approach. This program is designed for adults with demonstrated leadership ability who are 25 or older with at least five years of work experience. Students enroll as a "cohort learning community" taking the whole program together. This enriches and supports the learning process as students build networks and study teams.
Packaged and Sequenced for Completion. Your curriculum is planned for you; you'll take just a few courses at a time in sequence over three years. To make the program affordable, your tuition, books, a laptop computer and an international study tour are all included in the program cost - resulting in a significant savings over a traditional bachelor's degree program.
Innovative Instructional Approaches. This program is adult-learner oriented, honoring adult learning styles and needs. The design and delivery of courses combines traditional, accelerated and immersion-seminar formats, and an experiential component. Some courses are computer-based with limited class meetings.
Relevance - Local and Global. Designed for leaders and achievers, this course of study takes a multidisciplinary approach to broaden your perspectives. Students earn a major in Organizational Leadership and a minor in Communications. Coursework is directly linked to workforce preparation and career advancement, and includes a week-long international study tour, strengthening an understanding of the need for global leadership.
Convenient Class Locations. Students beginning the three-year accelerated degree in Fall 2009 will take their classes in Berea, Ohio. Students waiting to begin a new cohort in Fall 2010 will take their classes at B-W East in Beachwood.
