B-W faculty member Luis Sosa recently published an article entitled "Wages and Other Determinants of Corruption" in the Review of Development Economics.
Malcolm Watson, who heads the B-W International MBA program,, and graduate Coordinator Peggy Shepard visited B-W alumna Lara Selem in Brazil in October. Lara's book, Strategy in Law Practice, is doing well, and she is in demand as a consultant and speaker.
B-W assistant professor Linda G. Chase recently won certification from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners that enables her to investigate allegations of fraud and white-collar crime. This designation is awarded only to select professionals who meet a stringent set of criteria and pass a four-part exam.
Adjunct faculty member Charles B. Miner in October won a Distinguished Service Award from the Center for Health Affairs. Miner was formerly president and CEO of the Cleveland Clinic Health System-Eastern Region.
