At B-W, we have created opportunities for you to get know and interact with corporate leaders.
Business Advisory Council
B-W’s business programs remain relevant and responsive to regional and corporate issues through the support of the Business Advisory Council, which includes many B-W alumni.
Leaders from organizations such as National City Corporation, The Cleveland Browns, the Professional Golf Association, IdeaStream, the Cleveland Foundation, Lubrizol, MTD, Westfield Companies, Linsalata Capital Partners, PolyOne Corporation, Ernst & Young LLP, Fairport Investments, KeyBank, The Cleveland Clinic, and Parker Hannifin Corporation examine ways to improve existing programs, review and help support new programs, and offer students career suggestions through lectures and corporate roundtables.
Partnerships
We have formed partnerships with groups in Cleveland that we feel could be most beneficial to our students. Through the formation of these partnerships, we are able to provide additional opportunities for students to interact with and learn from some of the most influential leaders in Cleveland.
B-W is the exclusive educational partner of the President’s Council, comprised of minority CEOs. Through this partnership, B-W offers an emerging entrepreneurship program to minority CEOs operating businesses with growth potential.
B-W also is the exclusive educational partner of In Counsel with Women, whose members are the highest-ranking women in their organizations. B-W was selected for this partnership because of our practical orientation, responsive culture and 1:1 male-to-female ratio. Most MBA programs at other schools have a 2:1 male-to-female ratio.
Corporate Roundtables
Professors regularly connect students to the region’s business leadership through corporate roundtables. In groups of fewer than 20, students ask questions, debate issues and gain a deeper understanding of what it takes to be a leading executive and citizen. Rather than watch corporate leaders lecture from behind a podium, you get the chance to meet with them one on one.
